                   AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 6958, AS
                   AMENDED, KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE, SO AS
                   TO REZONE A TRACT OF LAND LOCATED AT 807
                   ARLINGTON AVENUE, BEING ON THE NORTHWEST LINE
                   OF ARLINGTON AVENUE SOUTHWEST OF ROBBINS
                   STREET FROM R-2 RESIDENTIAL ZONE TO R-4
                   SPECIAL ZONE SUBJECT TO CERTAIN CONDITIONS.

              	   SECTION 1.  BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
         CITY OF CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That Ordinance No. 6958, as
         amended, known as the Zoning Ordinance, be and the same is 
hereby
         amended so as to rezone:
             
              A tract of land located at 807 Arlington Avenue, being
              on the northwest line of Arlington Avenue southwest of
              Robbins Street.  Lot 69-1, Chattanooga Housing Authority
              Orchard Knob Urban Renewal Project Tennessee R-112, as
              shown by plat of record in plat book 47, page 231,
              R.O.H.C., being the property described in deed book
              3677, page 406, R.O.H.C.  Tax Map No. 146D-E-11.
             
         from R-2 Residential Zone to R-4 Special Zone.
              	   SECTION 2.  BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, that this rezoning 

         shall be subject to the following conditions:
              1.   That once the applicant, Habitat for Humanity, has
         completed its proposed use of the home, the use of the premises

         will be restricted to a single-family home or model
         home/residential sales office.
              	   SECTION 3.  BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this 
Ordinance
         shall take effect two weeks from and after its passage, the 
public
         welfare requiring it.
